So, as a tribute decided to recreate his painting.
Of course the misty minarets in the background are missing, but I've tried to emulate the lighting of the painting the best I could.
Posed in DAZ, rendered in LuxRender via Reality.
C&C most welcome.
Two things - first, I love this picture; second, would you mind if I borrowed it?
I have been a fan of Red Sonja for a long time. I think that this is at least in part because she is not a pure heroine, but a highly-flawed individual with a mass of issues and personality disorders. My favourite image of her is the one by Vallejo which you reference here. It emphasises her outsideness like none I have ever seen.
I also write Red Sonja Fan-Fiction in a small way, which I've just started to upload to fanfiction.net. It's easy to find; I am the only one (to my astonishment) who has posted stories about her. Anyway, I was browsing in search of a suitable cover-image, and I came across this one - and that was it.
Yes, I know I should have asked first, but I loved it so much I couldn't help myself. So I'm asking now - is it OK with you if I use your picture as a cover for my stories? Naturally, I will credit you if you wish.
